Deep garnet color.

Fine nose of undergrowth in autumn, dried fruit (figs), sweet spices (turmeric) with animal touches

venison, leather, smoky mineral notes, fresh menthol tones.

Good volume on the palate; the charm of an old wine having kept young characters at the level of the fruit in the mouth, fine tannins not drying.

To drink, (17 years old!). Do not decant, leave to evolve in a glass.


Harmonises with: duck with olives, duck tartare with porcini mushrooms, roast pork with figs, partridge roasted with juniper, boar fillet with pears… Cheeses: gouda, saint-nectaire… Desserts: pear in wine…
