Bright deep garnet color.
Spicy nose, fruit pastes (quince), undergrowth in spring (fern, moss), complex, floral.
Mineral. Fat wine, ample, long. Chiselled finish. Beautiful tactile tannins.
It can be drunk. Nice airiness. Has kept a chewy structure. Elegant and racy.
Harmonises with: fresh pan-fried foie gras, sweetbreads with financial sauce, small game (pheasant),
tomme de Savoie...
